Reeson Education is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a range of friendly and inclusive primary schools in Waltham Forest. This is a brilliant opportunity for recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in education while supporting children with a variety of learning and behavioural needs.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll play an essential role in helping pupils reach their full potential, whether that's by supporting them one-to-one, assisting in small groups, or helping to deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Role Details for the Graduate Teaching Assistant:
Pay: £82.14-£100 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Across primary schools in Waltham Forest, including Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, flexible days available
Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
Support teachers in creating engaging and inclusive classroom environments
Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional academic or emotional support
Assist children with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and speech and language delays
Contribute to classroom management and behaviour support strategies
Foster positive relationships with pupils and staff
What We're Looking For in a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
A recent graduate with a degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related field
A passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference in education
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning
Some experience working with children or young people is desirable
