St John is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Payable Administrator to join our in-house Shared Services Team, delivering high-value invoicing and debt recovery services for our internal departments.

The role is based at our shared services centre in Sheffield, offering on-site parking and the flexibility to work in a hybrid model after completing training.

MSS provides a broad range of administrative services supporting the daily activities of St John, including Finance, People, Property, Events, and Fleet. The role of MSS is vital to the success of St John.

About You

To succeed, you should have at least GCSE level education (Grade C or above) including Maths and English, with experience in finance transactional processes in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

About the Role

* Handle enquiries from staff, managers, volunteers, customers, and suppliers, providing effective first-contact resolutions where possible.
* Deliver customer service that prioritizes the customer and enhances St John’s reputation.
* Maintain accurate records of all enquiries for clarity and tracking.
* Own unresolved enquiries for resolution or escalate appropriately.
* Utilize departmental systems and processes to manage enquiries.
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve service quality and effectiveness.
