Youll be the go-to person for everyday tech support like setting up accounts, resetting passwords, and access issues for external customers along with helping colleagues with laptops and software. In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Help set up and manage user accounts, including password resets and access permissions. Support with setting up two-step login (multi-factor authentication) and keeping accounts secure in Microsoft 365. Provide IT support to staff and clients by phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and the service desk system. Log and track IT issues using ManageEngine Service Desk, escalating problems to senior staff when needed. Install, set up, and update laptops, servers, and software (both in the office and remotely). Learn how to solve problems using Microsoft 365 tools, remote support, and basic scripting. Gain experience with wired and wireless networks, including taking part in a new server room and network setup. Work with Microsoft 365 cloud services and data centres to support business systems. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
