Job Overview
1. An exciting opportunity working on an established and prestigious Transport for London account that is based across London. The London Underground contract is a 24/7, -day operation that will require the mobile supervisor to lead, motivate and develop the security team to provide a best-in-class service to the client's premises and its occupiers.. The mobile supervisors will provide effective site compliance through effective management of the operational team to ensure they are effective in all aspects of physical security, incident management, and health and safety. Will be the primary point of contact for the LU central operation team, Mitie management team and Emergency services.
Main Duties
Operations
2. To be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Site Security Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
3. Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
4. To be compliant with Industry and Statutory Legislation.
5. Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
6. Follow instructions and procedures.
7. To visit sites in accordance with regulations
8. To be aware of and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Site Security Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies
9. Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties as defined by role specifications
10. Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
11. Ensure site officers are trained and compliant, testing knowledge and ability
12. Ensure patrols are carried out as stipulated within the AI's
13. Complete site visits as required
14. Support sites with investigations and reports
15. Escalate incidents/issues where required
16. conduct welfare, & RTW meetings
17. Site compliance audits
Training
18. Complete all required competency training.
19. To undertake additional training as directed by the Line Manager.

Security and Health & Safety
21. Report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards.
22. Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss, or damage.
23. To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.
24. Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
25. To ensure check calls are being carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
26. To call emergency services and Fleet Security Control Centre to report all incidents.

Required
31. A full driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
32. 5 years' experience within the security industry
33. SIA license
34. Good knowledge of Microsoft office
35. Good report writing skills
36. Ability to learn various systems and implement that knowledge and training
37. Ability to pass a drug and alcohol medical
38. Ability to maintain a friendly approach to staff but maintain a managerial outlook
39. Competency to pass required certification that allows track access
40. Have or ability to pass an IOSH certification
41. Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
42. You are required to ensure you renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
43. Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.
44. Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage.
45. Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening.
46. To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.
47. Complete an accurate, detailed report as soon as possible after any incident, which can then be used as part of the Incident Report process.
48. Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
49. To ensure check calls are being carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
50. To call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.

The London Underground contract operates 24/7, days a year, and requires the Mobile Supervisor to lead, motivate, and develop the security team to deliver a best-in-class service to the client and building occupiers. The role is responsible for maintaining site compliance through effective management of the operational team across physical security, incident management, and health and safety. The Mobile Supervisor will also act as the main point of contact for the LU Central Operations team, Mitie management, and the emergency services.
Working Hours
55. This role involves 36 hours per week, with weekend working as mandatory and is a non-negotiable requirement, consisting of 24 hours across weekend shifts.
A further 12-hour shift will be allocated during the weekdays to make up the full 36 hours per week. This shift may be either a day or night shift and will be based on operational needs on any weekday.

Training

Mandatory Requirements
Any offer of employment will be subject to the successful candidate meeting the following Transport for London (TfL) requirements:

86. Successfully obtain TfL Track Certification, including Sentinel WSI, DTA and IWA
87. Upon successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, the candidate will be required to pass PWT course
