Farm Office Manager
Office based
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Reporting to the Farm Director for the UK farming division, you will be responsible for proactively managing all of the activities that facilitate the smooth running of the Farm office; including financial administration and reporting as well as organising people and other resources.
Being involved in the decision-making processes you will also provide administrative support to the Farm Director and Senior Management Team where required.

As a strong communicator, with a proven track record in administrative management with a strong sense of commercial awareness, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
⭐Play a key part in the production of Farm financial and decision support information, including month ends, budgets and variance reporting.
⭐Understanding and inputting data of primary financial statements such as P+Ls, Balance Sheets, Costings and Cashflows
⭐Completing of month end figures
⭐Maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
⭐Develop and improve systems used by the farm to increase efficiency and effectiveness
⭐Management of the Farm Office and small Administration Team
⭐Build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
⭐Stock reconciliations
⭐Updating and maintaining the farming database, Omnia, dealing with traceability and costings.
⭐Diary management, meeting scheduling, planning, and taking minutes as required
⭐Assist with organising company events
⭐Carrying out project work and ensuring completion on time
⭐Any other tasks deemed necessary at the discretion of your Line Manager
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
⭐Solid people & office management experience
⭐Strong character and personality
⭐Financial administration and understanding of P&L
⭐Able to deal with wide-ranging challenges and responsibilities with diplomacy, patience and humour
⭐Previous experience in supporting senior management
⭐A background in farming would be advantageous but not essential
⭐Highly organised and computer literate in all MS office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel
⭐Professional manner and confident communicator
⭐Proactive and flexible approach to work
⭐Ability to work autonomously when required, alongside effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
⭐Strong literacy and numeration skills
⭐Knowledge of stock replenishment and inventory management
⭐Strong sense of commercial awareness
