Commercial & FM Supplier Relationship Manager (Supporting Head of Function)
Remote (with regular travel to Leeds & Scotland – typically 1–2 days per week)

We are seeking a commercially focused Supplier Relationship Manager to take ownership of a key customer within the Procurement & Commercial function, with responsibility for managing FM suppliers alongside wider supplier relationships, while also supporting the Head of Function in delivering broader commercial and transformation objectives.
This is a high-impact manager-level role that combines commercial delivery, supplier performance management, and FM supplier oversight. You will play a key role in driving savings, improving supplier performance, and supporting ongoing transformation across a complex account.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and act as a key interface between suppliers, operations, and internal teams, helping to ensure alignment with wider strategic priorities set by the Head of Function.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the commercial lead for a key customer account across procurement, savings delivery, and supplier performance
* Manage end-to-end Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) across key suppliers, including FM suppliers and contractors
* Drive supplier performance through KPI management, governance, and structured improvement plans where required
* Support the Head of Function in delivering wider commercial strategy and transformation initiatives
* Contribute to delivery of savings plans and strategic initiatives in collaboration with Category Management and stakeholders
* Act as the key link between Operations, Finance, Category teams, and suppliers
* Monitor commercial performance against budget, savings targets, and contractual commitments
* Support continuous improvement across supplier management and procurement activity within the account
About You
* Background in procurement, commercial, or supplier management roles
* Experience in SRM, FM supplier management, or outsourced service environments
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with challenging customers or suppliers
* Commercially aware with a track record of delivering savings or performance improvements
* Ability to operate in a hands-on delivery role while supporting senior leadership objectives
* Confident working across multiple internal and external stakeholders
