Our client is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their expanding team based in Ashford, Kent.
Main Job Purpose:
To support advisers in providing compliant advice to clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of suitability reports from approved templates
2. Draft templates for approval
3. Obtain relevant quotations from providers
4. Process new business
5. Obtain policy information
6. Demonstrate principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all customer dealings
7. Communicate easily understandable recommendations to customers in all cases, and in writing
8. Be aware of and comply with the rules of the FCA and the set procedures of the business to achieve compliance
9. Comply with the requirements laid down in the Compliance and Administration procedures
10. Create compliant client files where all communications are documented correctly
11. Support the provision of good quality advice and service that does not require customers to make complaints
12. Complete CPD activity to meet identified needs and record training activities accordingly
13. Ensure any rule breaches are brought to the attention of Senior Management
14. Develop and maintain the highest possible compliance standards in all aspects of the business
15. Perform such tasks as the Director(s) may consider appropriate to your role, training, and experience
Qualifications:
* Full FPC or Certificate of Financial Planning (first paper required for Trainee status)
