Manchester City is looking for a talented Assistant Producer to join the Media team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll help create standout content for YouTube and City+, from matchday features to behind-the-scenes documentaries. If you're passionate about football, filming, and editing, this is your chance to shape the Club’s visual story.

Your Impact
1. Content Creation: Assist in the production of compelling video content tailored specifically for YouTube and City+, including pitcam, behind-the-scenes on Matchday, interviews, feature content and longer form documentaries.
2. Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage using Premiere Pro into polished, cohesive videos, including narrative features, promotional videos, educational content, vlogs, and more.
3. Cinematography: Assist in the operation of cameras and related equipment (lights, grip, audio) to capture video footage in a variety of settings, ensuring proper exposure, framing and focus.
4. Trend Awareness & Experimentation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor content, helping to implement new features and technologies to enhance our content.
5. Creative Ideation: Participate in developing fresh and engaging content ideas, ensuring alignment with audience expectations and strategic objectives.
6. Communication & Collaboration: Build professional and positive relationships whilst working collaboratively with editors, designers, freelancers, players, staff and other club personnel.
7. Workload Management: Ability to work on multiple ongoing tasks, reporting progress back to the Features Team.
What we are looking for
* A passion and understanding of Video Production
* Experience working with cameras at a professional level.
* Understands core concepts of framing and exposure.
* comfortable handling and maintaining professional video production kit.
* Proficient at editing on Premiere Pro
* Good Organisational Skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
* Knowledge of various video formats and best practices for different platforms.
* Comfortable taking direction from other creatives
* Ability to learn new production technologies and adapt to new ways of working
* Filming on Sony FX3/FX6 cameras
* Knowledge of DJI equipment
* Ideation and creative thinking skills
* Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
* Understanding of analytics and metrics to inform content strategy.
* Understanding the difference between platforms and treatment of video
* Wider Adobe creative cloud experience.
* Creative thinking and a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
* Attention to detail on all aspects of production
* Experience filming football or other sports.
* Film high quality content with iPhone
