I am working with a facilities management company who are looking to add a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to their team. The company specialise in PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings. This role is a field based position and will be covering the Devon area.
About the role of Air Conditioning Engineer:
My client work mainly on commercial buildings such as high street retailers and banks. You will be tasked with attending around 4 sites a day to carry out repairs or maintenance within the buildings which will include PPM and reactive work.
Responsibilities for Air Conditioning Engineer:
* Undertake maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment.
* Service, maintenance and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
* Work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets/ multi deck or ice machines
* Work across a variety of manufacture plants
* Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures
* Expected to complete any required work-related documentation accurately and on time
* Keep an accurate log of inspection reports and remedial work
* Use a hand held device effectively
