Police Constable – Operational Intelligence Management Assessor (OIMU) (CTPSE)
Thames Valley Police are recruiting a Police Constable to join the Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) team in the Operational Intelligence Management Unit (OIMU). The role involves receiving, assessing and evaluating intelligence in the heart of counter‑terrorism policing.
Responsibilities
* Receive, assess and evaluate intelligence and make recommendations.
* Gather information to inform decision‑making and tasking of immediate actions based on threat and risk.
* Problem‑solve with partners and manage the two‑way flow of overt, sensitive and secret information.
* Manage intelligence for live operations across the South East and contribute to strategic and tactical intelligence assessments.
* Develop target and problem profiles and other National Intelligence Model products.
* Operate on‑call arrangements for immediate response within the South East region.
Qualifications
* Current or recently qualified Police Constable.
* Experience in counter‑terrorism or intelligence environments preferred; investigative background acceptable with full training.
* High integrity, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Valid full UK driving licence.
* Must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past ten years (except authorised exemptions).
* Required to obtain and maintain DV vetting and enhanced security checks.
