Typing Assistant / Secretary – £27,000 + Benefits – London

The role

Could your fast typing and flawless spelling make you the perfect in-person assistant? Do you have the organisational skills and calm demeanour to support a busy CEO with daily communications?

We're looking for a Typing Assistant to work closely and directly with our CEO, providing hands-on typing and digital support.

You will work side-by-side with the CEO, helping manage emails, communications, and day-to-day operations. This role is vital in supporting the CEO, who requires typing assistance due to a repetitive strain injury. You'll be working in-person, so London-based applicants are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

* Type documents, messages and emails quickly and accurately from dictation.
* Draft and send digital communications on behalf of the CEO.
* Use IT software and online platforms to assist with business tasks.
* Manage the CEO's diary, schedule meetings, and assist with logistics.
* Update and maintain the CEO's professional social media accounts.
* Prepare, proofread and edit documents and reports.
* Keep digital files and records organised and up to date.
* Occasionally run personal errands with care and discretion.

The person

We're looking for someone who is:

* A highly skilled and speedy typist (70+ wpm recommended).
* Meticulous with spelling, grammar, and detail.
* Calm, supportive, and confident working in a one-to-one setting.
* Organised and reliable, with strong time management.
* Familiar with social media platforms and how to use them professionally.
* Respectful and comfortable supporting someone with access needs.
* Discreet, professional, and trustworthy in all situations.
