A UK market leader in hazardous and specialist waste is seeking a Technical Assessor to join their experienced team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring waste is correctly assessed, routed, and handled in line with regulations.
Use your chemistry qualifications, waste management knowledge, and problem-solving mindset to take on this rewarding role.
Duties include:
* Reviewing waste enquiries and ensuring full compliance with WM3 and site-specific protocols.
* Liaising with internal and external labs for sample analysis and waste acceptance.
* Recommending disposal routes and ensuring alignment with permits and waste licenses.
* Communicating effectively across sales, operations, and transport teams.
* Resolving non-conformances and supporting smooth customer service and logistics coordination.
What you’ll need:
* Minimum of HNC in Chemistry or related field.
* Experience within the waste industry.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
