Hours: 39 hours, Monday to Thursday, 5.30pm to 03.45am

About the Role
Well-established manufacturing business in Hull, currently seeking a skilled and reliable Wood Machinist to join the night shift team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of woodworking machinery in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Responsibilities
* Operate a range of woodworking machines including automatic and manual crosscut saws
* Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
* Measure, cut, and shape timber and plywood to precise specifications
* Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery
* Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a wood machinist in a manufacturing or joinery setting
* Confident operating both manual and automatic crosscut saws
* Strong understanding of timber types and machining techniques
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Awareness of health and safety procedures in a workshop environment
