The Capital Programme Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of our Programme of Capital Projects and the functional leader for the Project Management capability within Eliquo Hydrok. They lead on the Capital Projects customer experience to deliver safe, right-first-time outcomes with clear communication and minimal friction. Inspiring and developing a high-performing team within Project Management. To ensure effective governance, planning, resourcing and quality of all Project Management activities to pro-actively drive sustainable growth. What you'll be doing: The Capital Programme Manager is accountable for and provides leadership and management of all aspects of customer Project Management within Eliquo Hydrok. They ensure the successful delivery of Capital Equipment projects for all products from contract award to customer handover. Ensure all company and customer HSE policies and procedures are followed and embraced to ensure a safe working environment and strong safety culture. Champion safety within the team, promoting best practice and compliance with health and safety regulations. Act as a second line approval for complex RAMS. Ensure that team members are trained, supported and accountable for working safely at all times. Lead vendor, partner and customer relationships related to project delivery, building strong partnerships that facilitate business growth and long-term stability. Lead the development and execution of the business strategy for Project Management. Champion the adoption of the ERP system and ICT solutions to drive workflows, efficiency and data driven decision making Owner of departmental policies and procedures and accountable for the creation, monitoring and review of the same in line with company requirements / external accreditation. Who we are looking for: Essential: Experience working as a supplier in a regulated sector. Previous experience in a leadership role, leading similar outcomes and teams including coaching, developing and recruiting. Knowledge and experience of NEC4 contract management. Recognised project management qualification(s) / Professional Chartership (APM preferred, PMI acceptable) and a clearly defined personal professional development plan in place. Desirable: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject along with relevant professional qualifications for the role. IOSH and / or NEBOSH qualifications. Previous experience working inside the UK municipal water sector. Previous experience working for an OEM of products and services. Previous experience leading a Programme Management function. Additional Information The role holder must be capable of working effectively in a variety of locations and ideally be based within 40 miles of one of our UK locations (Midlands or Cornwall). Most of the time will need to be spent at our HQ in Cornwall (typically 50% of your time). We will also expect regular time to be spent at our facilities in the Midlands and Yorkshire with the Project Management team being based across all our UK locations. Expect regular travel across the UK and Ireland for meetings with customers, suppliers, colleagues and third parties as required. Site visits to water treatment works and other similar locations will be required; occasional international travel may also be required. Whilst not a contractual entitlement hybrid home working is expected to be possible with the assumption that one to two days per week could be home based.
