Seasonal Handy Person - Liverpool
Hourly Rate: £13 (plus holiday pay, circa £15.69 per hour in total)
Working Hours: 9am – 6pm, 20 hours per week
Contract Duration: Short-term, seasonal contract until the end of October

Role Overview
The Seasonal Handy Person plays a critical role during the summer months, restoring, improving, and maintaining our buildings to pristine condition ahead of the September intake of students.
* Painting & decorating
* Responding to maintenance requests promptly, addressing issues with plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, lighting, furniture, and other equipment
* Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
* Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and performing scheduled maintenance
* General repairs such as fixing minor issues like leaks, broken fixtures, and wall repairs
* Minor tasks including replacing flooring, repairing furniture, and touch-up painting & decorating
* Grounds maintenance, including grass-cutting & hedge-trimming/shaping
* Ensuring safety compliance by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
Candidate Profile
Professional Experience
* Skilled in various maintenance functions, including painting & decorating
* Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in similar environments
* Understanding and adherence to safety regulations
* IT literacy
Personal Characteristics

* Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus
* Strong organizational and leadership qualities, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
