The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support students’ learning and development across a range of subjects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, patient, and passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students in the classroom to help improve academic progress.
* Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to provide additional support.
* Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery.
* Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
* Provide feedback to teachers and senior staff on student progress and behaviour.
* Assist with preparing classroom resources and activities.
* Support students across a variety of subjects where required.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
* A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A flexible and proactive approach to classroom support.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
