We’re working with a friendly and well-respected accountancy firm in Fife that’s on the lookout for an enthusiastic Part Qualified Accountant to join their team. Why this firm? The role: You’ll be preparing management and annual accounts for a variety of clients — from sole traders and partnerships to trusts, LLPs, and landed estates. It’s a great mix of hands-on work and client interaction, and you’ll get exposure to businesses in a wide range of sectors. What you’ll be doing: Preparing annual and management accounts for a diverse portfolio. Assisting with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing. Preparing VAT returns and submitting them on time. Using cloud-based software such as Xero or QuickBooks. Working closely with clients and building positive relationships. Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and within budget. About you: You’ve got at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in public practice. You’re studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, ICAS, etc.). You’ve prepared accounts up to trial balance or review stage. You’ve used (or are keen to use) Xero, QuickBooks, or similar software. You’re a strong communicator and confident working with clients.
