He is a creative, and imaginative young person who enjoys arts and crafts, baking, cooking and spending time with his beloved cats. Location: NR 14 About the Role We are seeking friendly, patient, and reliable individuals to provide support and supervision during a range of indoor activities, including: Arts and crafts Playing board games Baking and cooking Any other reasonable activities that encourage engagement and enjoyment You will ensure that he is safely supported while having fun and developing his confidence. Person specification Essential: Calm, caring, patient and reassuring nature Enjoys working with children and young person Supportive and respectful when working alongside a parent in their home Able to provide constant supervision. Holds a full UK driving licence with appropriate business insurance Understands the importance of confidentiality and respect for family privacy Positive attitude with a compassionate approach Desirable: Previous experience in with children and young people with ASD, PDA, ADHD and very complex needs. Flexible approach to working hours Interest in arts, crafts, baking, and cooking Training and Skills The following training is required: First Aid training De-escalation training (e.g., Step On/Step Up or equivalent) Ligature training and possession of ligature cutters (ligature cutters to be with the PA all the time). Summary of terms and conditions The pay rate for this position is £15.00 per hour for employed PA. Hours and times of work: 03 hours per week and plus 3 hours per week during school holidays. Time discussed further at interview. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. The post is subject to the following: A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
