Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:
* Processing purchase invoices and supporting the accounts payable function.
* Assisting with sales ledger duties including raising invoices and allocating payments.
* Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
* Supporting month‑end processes, including accruals, journals, and bank reconciliations.
* Responding to internal and external finance queries promptly and professionally.
* Providing general support to the wider finance team as required.
The Ideal Finance Assistant:
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy.
* Confident working with finance systems and Excel.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
