About the Role

What you will be doing.
As a key member of our multi‑professional team, you will:
1. Plan, deliver and teach engaging lessons to individuals and small groups, following our Curriculum Framework
2. Monitor, record and report on student progress with accuracy and insight
3. Contribute to whole‑school development and help drive forward our School Development Plan
4. Promote the physical, educational and moral development of every student
5. Create and maintain a stimulating, well‑organised classroom environment
6. Coordinate subject areas across key stages as agreed with the Head Teacher
7. Develop, implement and review IEPs, IBPs and other personalised plans
8. Ensure learning is safe, purposeful and appropriately risk‑assessed both on and off site
9. Support and guide LSAs, Tutors, Instructors and care staff to deliver high‑quality learning experiences
10. Work effectively with challenging behaviour, helping students move from external regulation to self‑control
11. Communicate consistently with care staff, families and colleagues to ensure a joined‑up approach
12. Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory standards
13. Safeguard all students and uphold their wellbeing at all times
14. Meet the Professional Standards for Teachers in full

What You’ll Bring

15. QTS or equvilent qualification
16. A commitment to delivering high‑quality education within agreed budgets and resources
17. Strong awareness of Health & Safety, safeguarding and child protection

19. Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship‑building skills
20. A proactive approach to personal development and ongoing training

Red Kite is a brand-new independent special educational needs school which will cater for up to 60 pupils with social and emotional health needs.
