The Central Primary Care team are looking for an experienced, organised and enthusiastic Administration/Clerical Support Officer/Departmental Receptionist to work in our Health Board managed GP Practice Healthy Prestatyn Iach, Prestatyn.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be booking appointments and dealing with patient queries over the phone and face to face, ordering and printing repeat prescriptions, therefore excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner are required.
Proficient IT skills (including experience of Microsoft Office) are also required as the post holder will undertake a variety of administrative duties, scanning, summarising, workflow and private patient income work, all to assist in the smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a healthcare setting or a customer service environment – full training can be given to the right candidate.
The post holder will also be expected to work at other Healthy Prestatyn Iach sites in the area.

* NVQ Customer Service Level 3
* Word processing or equivalent demonstrable experience.
