We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as a Medical Secretary. This position is based at the Links Unit, City Hospital, Aberdeen.
The post holder will support and manage clinicians within the service, currently supporting 15 clinicians. This number may fluctuate based on service needs.
Responsibilities include all audio typing, booking appointments for clinicians, and handling various administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and general administration.
The role also involves supporting with logging into our phone system daily and assisting reception when required.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys working flexibly with people. The successful candidate will work autonomously but also as part of a team, able to prioritize tasks to meet service demands. They should be comfortable working with new systems and processes and contribute to their development. Good organizational skills and confidence in IT systems are essential.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, covering CAMHS core hours.
