Main duties & Responsibilities

1. Improve and develop chemical compliance policies
2. Improve and develop ESG policies, processes, and reporting inputs across Product, Sourcing, Operations, People, Finance, and Marketing.
3. Responsible for translating ESG reporting expectations and emerging EU sustainability legislation into practical implementation
4. Lead ESG data mapping, collection, validation, and documentation across environmental, social and governance topics.
5. Support ESG reporting and certification requirements, including B Corp submissions.
6. Monitor upcoming UK/EU sustainability legislation and translate requirements into internal actions and timelines.
7. Working knowledge of UK/EU product compliance, with ability to support delivery.
8. Main contact for BRC and Textiles 2030
9. Ensure all relevant policies are relayed to relevant to teams to ensure company compliance

What would we like to see in you?

10. Educated to Degree level
11. 3+ years experience in an ESG, sustainability, compliance role
12. Extensive knowledge on chemical compliance
13. Experience of implementing and driving a circularity business model
14. Able to work individually and as part of a team
15. A confident communicator at all levels
16. Knowledge of Prop 65 would be advantageous
17. Experience of packaging would be an advantageous
