About the role
Join Podium, where precision and speed are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering real-time, accurate betting shows, starting prices and results data for UK and Irish horse racing services.

What you'll be doing
1. Pre-race checks, data collection and monitoring incoming data feeds.
2. Scheduling, planning and preparation.
3. Live betting shows and Starting prices. Applying the rules set by Starting Price Regulatory Commission (SPRC) under the supervision of an experienced Starting Price Validator.
4. Results. Processing and checking, ensuring results are accurate and timely.
5. Respond to Racing Customer Services and customer queries in a flexible, professional manner.
6. Liaising with BHA officials and third-party suppliers and data providers.
7. Ensure that any live data issues are clearly communicated to senior staff and shift leaders for follow up.
8. Understanding of downstream customer impact and the importance of escalating live data errors immediately.
What you'll need
9. An understanding of key betting concepts
10. Excellent communication skills
11. The ability to comfortably work under pressure whilst adhering to KPI targets
12. Willingness to work within a 24/7, 365 days a year racing schedule
13. A very high degree of integrity
The work pattern is naturally determined around a racing schedule ranging between 08.30 and 21.30, 37.5 hours per week. Due to the nature of the industry and the hours you must be over 18. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic DBS check, Adverse Financial check and ID check.
