Job Description
3. Manage and oversee a portfolio of trust accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Provide expert tax advice to clients, addressing complex queries with accuracy and professionalism.
5. Prepare and review tax returns for trusts, estates, and individuals as required.
6. Assist with the administration of trusts, including drafting trust accounts and maintaining accurate records.
7. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
8. Collaborate with colleagues in the tax department to deliver seamless client service.
9. Support junior staff with training and development in trust and tax matters.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices where applicable.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Trust & Tax Manager should have:
11. Professional qualifications in tax or accountancy (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA, STEP).
12. Strong technical knowledge of trust and tax compliance requirements.
13. Experience managing a portfolio of trust accounts and providing tax advisory services.
14. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
15. Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.
