We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and who can take on a more advanced role within the classroom.
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences, lead small group interventions, and occasionally cover whole-class teaching. You will play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across the school, including planning and delivering lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
* Lead targeted interventions for groups of pupils to raise attainment.
* Cover classes during teacher absence, ensuring continuity of learning.
* Assist in the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
* Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values and ethos.
Requirements
* HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working in a primary school setting.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
