Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager will lead the development and execution of Water Corporation's enterprise strategy and transformation agenda.
Operating as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board, this role carries responsibility for:
1. Setting long-term strategic direction and aligning the organisation against clear enterprise priorities
2. Leading a complex portfolio of programs and major projects, ensuring disciplined execution and benefits realisation
3. Driving operating model evolution to position the organisation for future performance
4. Embedding robust governance, prioritisation, and performance frameworks across the business
5. Influencing decision-making at the highest levels, both internally and across government and key stakeholders.
6. Building and leading a high performing, engaged leadership team aligned to enterprise priorities
7. Championing a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organisation
8. Providing visible and authentic leadership to embed organisational values and drive sustainable change
