Location: Nottingham (On-site 5 days/week)

Rate: Competitive Day Rate


Are you a heavy-hitting CRM leader who thrives on complexity and scale?


Based in Nottingham, this is a 12-month contract focused on driving a high-impact personalisation agenda for a database of over 15 million active customers. This isn't just a BAU 'keeping the lights on' role; you will be tasked with evolving how a team of 50 operates, moving from product-first to customer-first engagement while integrating AI-driven automation into a massive MarTech stack.


The Scope of Work

* Leader of Leaders: Direct management of 5 senior leads (overseeing a wider team of 50)
* Operational Excellence (75%): Maintaining the CRM for their high volume email and CRM channel. You will ensure flawless execution in a high pressure, commercial environment where CRM is the primary driver of sales.
* Transformation & Modernisation (25%): Breaking down team silos to cross functional working practices. You will work closely with the Transformation Lead to shift the team structure and upskill staff on new AI capabilities within Adobe AEM. (Adobe Experience Manager)
* Stakeholder Navigation: Acting as the bridge between the customer strategy and commercial directors. You will be absorbing pressure from multiple business units while protecting the customer journey.


Your Profile

This role requires a unique blend of resilient leadership and technical data fluency. You should be someone who understands the CRM system as well as the high level strategy.

* Retail: You have a deep understanding of fast-paced consumer environments and the complexity of joining up online and in-store customer journeys.
* Large Scale CRM Leadership: Experience managing significant teams (not just small pods) within data rich organisations.
* Data & Tech Savvy: You are comfortable working with data science teams to unlock automation, predictive analytics, and hyper-personalized segmentation.
* Strategic Authority: You have a track record of influencing senior stakeholders (Heads of and Directors) to balance commercial needs with long term customer lifetime value.
