What this job involves:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, versatile and motivated individual. This is a varied role involving working across our UK Agency, Lease Advisory, and Rating (“ALAR”) teams - supporting our Business Line leaders to strengthen and grow their client relationships. The Operations Director oversees operational initiatives and programs that impact the business's productivity, with a focus on transformation. The role requires strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and adaptability.
What your day-to-day will look like:
1. Assisting the COO on all Operational matters
2. Identifying opportunities to streamline operational initiatives and improve efficiencies.
3. Managing support teams and maintaining engagement.
4. Understanding our platforms and providing training to upskill wider teams.
5. Supporting the business leads with ad hoc demands.
6. Overseeing and driving alignment within our Shadow board.
7. Attending operational meetings to ensure maximum productivity and continuous improvement.
8. Producing flash forecasts on a monthly basis and tracking
9. Support data and knowledge management
10. Promoting and championing the use of JLL tools available.
11. Working with the Early Careers team to ensure adequate recruitment into our teams.
12. Owning the recruitment trackers and engagement with Talent Acquisition function
13. Owning the promotion process across the business line
14. Participating in the operation managers network across JLL to share knowledge and best practices.
15. Supporting with budget and reforecast processes
16. Supporting with year end renumeration planning
17. Providing input and helping develop sub-business line business cases and strategy documents
18. Engaging with the off-shore teams for ALAR to ensure quality of services, alignment with SLAs and ensuring the team feel integrated and part of the ALAR family
19. Championing people experience cross the business line
Required Skills and Experience:
20. Familiarity with corporate billing, client relationship management and human resource systems
21. Experience enhancing processes and improving efficiencies to increase team capacity.
22. Some analytical ability is requiredin order to gather and summarise data for reports and to find solution to various admin issues. This includes being financially numerate, having a good understanding of P&Ls and being highly proficient with Excel
23. Ability to priortise workload with a strong attention to detail and willingness to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
24. Experience of managing complex direct and matrix teams
25. Influencing and negotiating skills
26. Strong work ethic, with a willingness and flexibility to take on additional duties and maintain a ‘can do’
27. An experience working alongside HR would be preferrable
