A day in the life of a Support Worker at Blaen Y Waun: Supporting children and young people’s emotional and physical needs in a safe, caring environment. Acting as a positive role model, encouraging independence and confidence.
Supporting with school, social and work-based activities, as well as community outings. Tailoring support to meet individual needs and development plans. Recording progress, activities, and any incidents clearly and accurately.
