Your new roleAs Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will takemercial responsibility for a significant new build industrial development in Manchester. This is a large, high value steel frame scheme forming part of a wider pipeline of major projects across the North West.
Your role will include:
1. Fullmercial management of the project from start to final account procurement of subcontract packages and management of supply chain performance.
2. Cost reporting, valuations, change control and forecasting
3. Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure contract and programmepliance
4. Supporting the widermercial team on future tenders and regional growth plans
5. This is a role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, technical challenge and working on major projects with long-term local work.
What you’ll need to succeed
6. Experience as a QS or Senior QS within a main contracting environment
7. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
8. Ability to manage procurement, cost control andmercial reporting independently
9. Strongmunication and client-facing skills
