Our client is an international Accounting and Audit practice, part of a global network. In order to support a growing operation, they require a Senior IT Technician to join a small, friendly team., ensuring the smooth running of the IT network.
As Senior IT Technician here you will:
* Respond to jobs that arise through the helpdesk ticketing system
* Set-up new users as and when required
* Support all hardware/software within the office and oversee the Net2Access Control software system
* Monitor and maintain web access, email filtering and Anti-virus updates, VPN, remote working, Servers, Disaster recovery, VMWare, Proxmox, Know4Be training, Bitdefender
* It is a mandatory requirement to operate on a daily basis within the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the ISO:27001 IT & Data Security Systems
* Understand the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO:27011 IT & Data Security Systems and to maintain a good working knowledge
The ideal candidae for the role of Senior IT Technician will:
* Have at least 4 years' experience in an IT environment
* Experience of Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Server Configuration, VMWare and Proxmox virtualisation platforms, Exchange Server 2016 (2010), Windows 10/11
* Good working experience of Linux, Desktop support, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office 2016 onwards
* Confident in communicating effectively with staff at all levels
* Have a genuine interest in IT and industry developments
* Professional and positive approach with very good interpersonal skills
* Be self-motivated and a team player
