Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor (NQ)

About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor (NQ) to join a leading law firm in the heart of the City of London. This role will involve working on a variety of clinical negligence cases, including birth injuries, surgical negligence, and medical misdiagnosis. You will be joining a compassionate and client-focused team, known for going the extra mile to secure maximum compensation for those affected by clinical negligence.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and progress clinical negligence claims, with a focus on sensitive client care.
* Report directly to the Department Director and provide technical guidance to junior team members when needed.
* Handle a diverse caseload, including cases issued in court, with a strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules.
* Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare case materials.
* Handle correspondence and ensure compliance with all file management protocols.
* Maintain accurate time-costing procedures and implement recommendations from monthly file reviews.
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Law, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
* A clean and valid Practising Certificate.
* Excellent client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy.
* Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage privately funded cases and demonstrate initiative in legal advocacy.
* Experience in own advocacy is an advantage.
