Your new companyThis shared service centre is looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. This role sits in the Cash & Banking department and allows you to get involved with process improvement and project work. Your new roleOn a day-to-day basis, you are responsible for:
* Ensure bank statements are downloaded and reconciled in a timely and effective manner
* Process payment runs on a daily basis
* Review manual payments requests and process accordingly
* Monitor and control all supplier direct debts
* Responsible for reconciliation and submission of invoice discounting
* Deal with queries in a timely manner
What you'll need to succeed
* You will have previous experience in a similar Purchase ledger position ideally in manual payments
* Proficient in excel and ideally you will have SAP or Oracle knowledge.
* You will have great attention to detail and enjoy investigating.
