Self Employed Peripatetic Piano Tutor We welcome applications for this support post to commence September 2025 The Role We are seeking a passionate and skilled Self Employed Peripatetic Piano Tutor to provide high-quality 1:1 piano lessons to students of various abilities and for different specifications. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: Teaching individual and potentially small group piano lessons. Developing students’ techniques, confidence, and musicality with the piano. Preparing students for performances, exams, and auditions. Adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities. Maintaining records of student progress. The Successful Candidate Cardinal Newman College is a wonderful place to work, and this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join our friendly and well established Music department. The Music department is looking for someone who has a strong piano ability with formal training, has previous teaching experience and has music industry experience. Terms and Conditions Hours: No set hours (typically around 5 – 8 hours per week intake dependant) Salary: £32 per hour.
