Job Summary
Driver With Own Vehicle Essential. We are looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support our daughter Ruby, a friendly and creative 16‑year‑old who attends sixth form full‑time.
Working Conditions
Hours: 5 hours per week.
Rate: £14.00 per hour.
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne.
Responsibilities
* Support Ruby in activities she enjoys (singing, dancing, music, swimming, bowling, horse riding, arts and crafts).
* Attend singing and dancing groups.
* Take part in community outings such as shopping, cinema trips, bowling, or eating out.
* Go swimming safely.
* Build confidence, independence, and skills.
* Make choices and have control over her activities.
* Provide emotional reassurance when needed and work closely with the family to deliver consistent, person‑centred support.
Personal Care
Minimal personal care is required, including occasional encouragement to use the toilet and support with sanitary products, always provided respectfully and with dignity.
Qualifications and Requirements
Driving licence essential with access to car and correct insurance. The successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K. This vacancy will close as soon as a suitable candidate is appointed.
