The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting and driving the growth of the team, with a particular emphasis on international tax matters concerning high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses (OMBs), private equity clients, and trusts with varied asset profiles.
The core responsibility will be the management of a client portfolio, encompassing both tax compliance and advisory work—initially balanced, with a longer-term shift towards advisory-focused services. The role also includes supporting Directors and senior management in both client engagements and team oversight, as well as contributing to ad hoc special projects.
Additionally, the role involves active participation in business development activities and proposal work, collaborating with Directors and the wider management team to pursue opportunities from both existing and prospective clients.
Requirements:
* Holds a university degree and/or professional qualifications such as CTA or ACA (or equivalent).
* Proven experience following qualification.
* In-depth technical expertise in private client matters.
* Provides guidance and oversight to junior team members.
* Actively supports, trains, mentors, and advises peers within their area of expertise.
* Proactively questions existing processes, promotes enhancements, and leads change initiatives.
* Takes ownership of both personal actions and the decisions and conduct of others.
