Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Liverpool (L21)

Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Liverpool (L21) on a long‑term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide general classroom support in KS1, helping children with their early development, learning, and social skills. You will be joining a supportive and experienced team dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and KS1 pupils
2. Support children’s learning through group work, interventions, and focused 1:1 support
3. Assist with the delivery of phonics, early reading, writing, and maths activities
4. Encourage positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional development
5. Support with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and observation/assessment tasks
Essential Requirements:
6. Recent and relevant experience working in an educational setting
7. Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent)
8. A passion for supporting KS1 pupils
9. A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to learning support
10. Ability to follow guidance from the class teacher and work effectively as part of a team
