Overview
Warehouse Operatives – Desborough, NN14. £12.60 - £14.74 Per Hour - Depending on Shift Pattern. We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a prestigious warehouse based in Kettering, NN14. This role offers the opportunity of a permanent contract following a qualifying period as well as training on LLOP, PPT, Reach Trucks and VNA.
Responsibilities
* Reworking pallets and palletising
* Picking products using a hand scanner
* Safely moving stock around the warehouse
* Full induction, training and ongoing support
* Moving stock around the warehouse safely using MH; LLOP, PPT, Reach Trucks and/or VNA Trucks (training provided)
* Breaking down and restacking pallets
* General warehouse duties as required
Shift patterns
* 4 on 4 off Nights: 18:00 – 06:00
* Monday to Friday: 22:00 – 06:00
* Sunday – Thursday: 22:00 – 06:00
* Monday to Friday Rotating: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00
Requirements
* Experience in a warehouse is advantageous
* Experience of using mechanical handling equipment is advantageous, but training is provided
* Hard work and passion. You dont need warehouse experience; you will be trained
* A positive and flexible attitude. Self-motivated, always looking for the best in every situation
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Commitment to hit targets
* Ability to work in a target-driven environment
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Attention to detail and ability to work to a high level of accuracy while working quickly
