The Opportunity
Our client is a global creative communications agency looking for an Account Director to join their West Midlands office. You will work with key clients, supporting their event strategies, requiring previous event agency experience and senior-level content and strategy discussions.
About The Company:
They are a full-service, global creative agency with teams across London, The Midlands, and Manchester, specialising in Live and Virtual Events, Campaigns, Films, and Incentive Travel. They focus on translating strategies into engaging experiences.
About You:
Seeking a highly skilled individual with 5+ years of event agency experience, capable of managing large-scale, high-budget client projects, with strong project management, interpersonal, client management, content development, financial, and strategic skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Manage client projects, oversee briefing, liaise with suppliers, content, technical, logistics, delegate management, and attend events.
2. Content Development: Lead creative content across media with the Client Services Director.
3. Financial Management: Oversee project profitability, margins, and client contract obligations, ensuring cash flow positive projects.
4. Process & Quality Control: Uphold ISO 9001 standards, improve processes, and ensure high-quality output.
5. ROT: Manage ROT targets, support strategic client engagement, and challenge senior staff to think strategically.
6. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively.
7. Client Management: Oversee production, attend client meetings, communicate with senior stakeholders, and identify client opportunities.
8. New Business & Business Development: Assist in identifying new opportunities, attend meetings, and develop client growth plans.
9. Health & Safety: Oversee H&S compliance and documentation.
10. CRM: Keep CRM updated with client info.
11. Line Management: Lead and develop account managers and teams, conduct performance reviews.
12. Company Culture: Promote company values, encourage team involvement, participate in meetings and activities.
