Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for supporting global networks? We’re looking for a Network Support Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced Global Customer Support team based in Redruth (Pool).
In this role, you’ll provide hands-on technical support across satellite communications, IP networking, and firewall systems—keeping critical services online for customers around the world 🌍. You’ll be a senior presence on shift, guiding junior engineers and taking ownership of complex technical challenges.
đź”§ What You'll Do:
* Deliver 2nd line support for IP networks, satellite systems, and customer equipment
* Monitor systems proactively and respond to alerts in real time
* Troubleshoot issues across routing, switching, RF links, and Wi-Fi
* Own support tickets from diagnosis to resolution, maintaining customer satisfaction
* Log incidents and actions accurately using tools like Freshdesk
* Share knowledge and mentor 1st and 2nd line engineers on shift
* Help refine internal processes and improve service delivery
✅ What You’ll Bring:
* Solid background in network or technical support (NOC or similar)
* Strong troubleshooting skills with IP networking (CCNA, JNCIA, etc. a plus)
* Excellent communication and customer service mindset
* A proactive, calm approach to solving technical challenges
* Willingness to work within a 24/7 operational shift rota
Bonus Points For:
* Experience with satellite communications (VSAT, Inmarsat, Iridium, etc.)
* Familiarity with military/defence-grade systems or MOD support
* Hands-on knowledge of technologies like Intellian, Seatel, or BGAN
