All 223 well-appointed ensuite bedrooms of the hotel have been tastefully designed and has on-site restaurant and bar.
We are looking to recruit a Head Housekeeper to join and lead the housekeeping team.
As Head Housekeeper you will be required to:
• Effectively manage the department to ensure the consistent cleanliness of all public areas, bedrooms, and corridors. Checking of all these areas is key to maintain high standards.
• Manage weekly rotas, wage return spends, holiday requests and Room Attendant Daily Task Sheets.
• Ordering of essential chemicals, equipment, and uniform.
• Ensure all housekeeping reports, including daily discrepancy reports are shared with the relevant departments.
• Communicate effectively with all internal departments and HODs, including Reception and Maintenance to ensure all room allocations are processed correctly.
• Recruit, train and develop all housekeeping staff.
• Demonstrate a good control of linen ordering and communication with designated contracted laundry company to ensure adequate available stocks.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Head Housekeeper/Deputy Head Housekeeper in 100+ bedroom hotel. You will be an organised, proactive, and efficient team member and thrive to empower these skills into the Housekeeping Team.
You will also have excellent attention to detail and thrive to effectively meet deadlines whilst maintaining and improving high quality standards. Innovative and motivated to be involved in projects planning and implementation.
