Location: Chatham, Kent
A well-established and busy residential conveyancing team in Chatham is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join the practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable, supportive environment where you will take ownership of a varied caseload and play a key role in a close-knit team in the Chatham office, with wider support across the firm’s Kent network.

The Role
You will manage a full and varied caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Transfers of equity
* Remortgages and refinancing
* Title checking, search reports and enquiries
* Stamp duty procedures
* Leasehold matters including:
* Lease extensions and renewals
* Grant of leases
* Deeds of surrender
* Landlord and tenant matters
* Acquisitions and disposals of businesses
* Utilities agreements (where applicable)
* End-to-end file management with minimal supervision
* Active involvement in business development initiatives
About You
The firm is open on qualification route (Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer), and will consider candidates at varying levels of PQE, provided they are confident managing their own caseload.
You will be:
* Experienced in residential conveyancing (commercial exposure advantageous but not essential)
* Highly organised and comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Proactive with strong time management and prioritisation skills
* Client-focused with a professional and approachable manner
* Technically competent with a strong attention to detail
