Role: Facilities Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Gravesend (You will need to be a driver as occasional visits to other sites are required)
Term: Temp with the possibility of a permanent role
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday (35hrs per week)
Salary: £15.50ph - £16.50ph (£35,300k if the role is offered on a permanent basis)
What You'll Do:
As a Facilities Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our facilities management.
Maintain site database to ensure seamless operations
Communicate with subcontractors to obtain service quotes as needed
Action requirements based on site reports, ensuring everything runs like clockwork
Responsible for essential services to remote sites, including Water risk assessments, Fire risk assessments, Cleaning services, Fire extinguishers
Keep the remote sites calendar updated and coordinate visits
Maintain records of inducted contractors for remote site access
Conduct relevant training checks for site access.
Manage the facilities helpdesk and document all site visits, works, and inspections
Step in for the reception team when needed
Assist in creating and maintaining the Facilities Department Inventory and PPM schedule
Highlight any environmental concerns related to remote sites and report appropriately
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Facilities Hard Services Coordinator and Facilities Manager

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication abilities
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
