We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within a market-leading food service company in the UK. You will have opportunities for progression, as the company invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards employees who excel.
Shift patterns typically include 5 out of 7 days.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights clients and customers
* Overseeing menu updates and implementing changes
* Identifying opportunities to enhance food services
* Acting on customer feedback to improve service quality
* Supporting the creation of new menus and food concepts
* Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
* Monitoring stock levels and managing inventories
* Maintaining hygiene standards through kitchen cleaning responsibilities
* Ensuring compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
Our Ideal Chef Will
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
* Have experience supervising a team
* Have experience in a similar Chef role
* Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
* Be flexible in working hours
