£16.00 – £19.00 per hour (DOE)
Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm or Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced or aspiring HGV Mechanic to join a well-established transport company in Leighton Buzzard. This is a great opportunity offering long-term stability, overtime, and the chance to secure a permanent role.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
* Every other Saturday - paid at time and a third
* Overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours
Pay:
* £16.00 – £19.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
* Enhanced overtime rates
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs (primarily Volvo fleet)
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out inspections
* Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Candidate Requirements:
* Any level of HGV/mechanical experience considered
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently and within a team
