The Finance Manager - Research will lead in the provision of high quality financial information to the Assistant Finance Director, Clinical Board Finance Manager, Associate Director of Operations and Clinical Director, for both monthly management purposes and statutory reporting. A knowledge of relevant accounting standards, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of research funding sources and mechanisms is required, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure utilization is optimized for the benefit of the Trust and its patients. Supported by the Directorate Accountant for Research, you will also have responsibility for the day to day operation of the research delivery finance team of eight people. The role is based at Regent Point in Gosforth, with parking available or easy access to the Regent Centre metro and bus interchange.
