Oasis Academy Parkwood is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Apprentice School & Community Wellbeing Champion to join our warm, vibrant, and caring team. This 14-month programme includes the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Community Health and Wellbeing Worker Apprenticeship (Level 3) qualification, giving you the skills, knowledge, and experience to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
* Play an active role at the heart of the Scunthorpe community, supporting children and families through our unique and holistic Hub approach.
* Thrive in a safe, inclusive, and values-led school where staff wellbeing is championed and student achievements are celebrated.
* Join a collaborative, research-driven team where making a difference every single day is encouraged, recognised, and truly valued.
* Work closely with our Youth Support Worker and a committed group of staff who share your passion for helping others.
* Build warm, trusting relationships with pupils and their families, creating a strong foundation for success.
* Provide vital encouragement and support to vulnerable children, helping to grow their confidence and independence.
* Contribute to vibrant after-school clubs and engaging holiday activities that inspire and include everyone.
* Actively promote wellbeing within the school and across the wider community.
* Help create an academy environment where every individual feels respected, supported, and empowered to succeed.
