Job Description
The High Priority Incident Management process focuses on rapid restoration of high-priority incidents 24/7, involving coordination with technical teams, management, and clients. The role requires leading incident resolution, communication, and post-incident reviews.
Responsibilities
* Manage escalated high-priority incidents to resolution.
* Maintain authority within client and DXC organizations to ensure incident resolution success.
* Record incident timelines and coordinate recovery plans with teams and vendors.
* Act as escalation point and lead communication efforts.
* Participate in incident reviews and promote best practices.
Requirements
* Typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Security clearance: Must meet UK security criteria (live in UK for 5+ years, no dual nationality, no sponsorship needed).
Skills
Strong customer service, influencing, vendor management skills, and ITIL knowledge.
Additional Information
This role involves shift work, including nights and possible out-of-hours on-call. Candidates must be eligible for UK SC security clearance.
