The company has an integrated operation office in Basingstoke, UK, and is involved in energy transition activities including decarbonised solutions such as CCS, renewables and hydrogen. Our client operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work up to 12 working days per month from home or a secure UK location. About 60% of time on average can be remote where feasible.
Description of Project/Role and Main Responsibilities
A Senior Process Engineer is required to support the Project Discipline Lead Engineer on multiple projects, spanning from feasibility through Basic Design and FEED. Projects may involve onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities, with a focus on LNG and renewables.
Main responsibilities
* Work autonomously to deliver a defined scope of work.
* Debottleneck existing facilities and coordinate the production of multi-discipline reports.
* Produce and check standard process engineering deliverables in accordance with Company and international standards.
* Follow up contractor activities, reviewing contractor documentation (P&IDs, datasheets, Design Basis documents) in line with Company specifications.
* Collaborate with team members across multiple geographical locations on technical activities.
Qualifications, professional experience and skills
* Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering.
* Chartered engineer status with the Institute of Chemical Engineers is preferred.
* Experience on FEED and EPC projects for Oil and Gas Processing facilities.
* High degree of technical autonomy and the ability to work with limited supervision.
* Experience using HYSYS is advantageous.
* Experience across Feasibility through Basic Design and FEED to Detailed Design and Construction.
* Specific expertise in CCUS, LNG or Offshore technologies would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of Eni tools and standards would be a significant advantage.
